CHARACTER ANALYSIS #8- Mr. Nezzer from "Veggietales"

Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.

As promised in a recent video embedded into this blog, this is a Character Analysis on former Veggietales character Mr. Nezzer.

First appearing in Rack, Shack, and Benny in 1995,

Mr. Nezzer would usually assume the villain role in almost every episode that he's in. He's usually seen in business attire, unless he has a role that has him he into costume

(ex. Lyle the Kindly Viking).
Sometimes he shows up as a cameo in the LarryBoy episodes,

excluding LarryBoy and the Rumor Weed, because he had a minor speaking role in that video.

Also, he can usually be seen with a sidekick named Mr. Lunt, who usually does some of his bidding for him (excluding Esther... The Girl Who Became Queen).

Yeah, you can expect to see this duo every time Mr. Nezzer is involved.

Plus, sometimes, Mr. Nezzer can be a good guy. Take Lord of the Beans, for example:

he plays a Gandalf parody named Randalf.
-Starting to see the similarity in both names?
In that video, Mr. Nezzer's character assists Junior Asparagus in an adventure.

So, telling by his many roles on the show, Mr. Nezzer is mainly an antagonist; however, unlike most animated villains, this one may show remorse every once in a while. And I know I tend to criticize this character for not having enough direction, but now the more I think about it, he's not so bad. Not to mention, ever since the creation of Veggietales In The House on Netflix, he got booted off the franchise (read Part 3 of my Veggietales In The House editorial for more information). Yeah, it's sad that Mr. Nezzer, a character that can be great (if he was given the right tools), lasted from 1995 to 2014.

I don't know. I feel like I'm not doing enough to pay homage to this character. So... coming soon, I'll post a Top (whatever number) list for Mr. Nezzer's best performances on Veggietales.
