Hi, I'm the Amateur Critic. I review just about anything.
Again, I find myself bored. I know I did a countdown yesterday, but I'm gonna do another one, but this time making it short and sweet. I promise you, after this countdown, I'll return to my reviews and editorials.
10. LarryBoy and the Angry Eyebrows Movie Review
9. Top 10 Most-Viewed Posts In The Week of 10/26-11/2/13
8. LarryBoy and the Rumor Weed Movie Review
7. Top 10 Most Underrated Villains
6. LarryBoy and the Fib from Outer Space Movie Review
5. Lamb Chop's Play Along: "Lamb Chop Practices For A Talent Show"
4. LarryBoy and the Yodelnapper Movie Review
3. Top 5 Most-Viewed LarryBoy Reviews
2. LarryBoy: Leggo My Ego Movie Review
1. LarryBoy in the Good, the Bad, and the Eggly Movie Review
Now, why would a movie so awkward place #1 on this countdown?
Maybe because I criticized this movie for not being a legit LarryBoy story...
As I said before, the characters are either morons and/or psychotic; the story was fast-paced- I mean, tell a story!
And speaking of story, the plot was ridiculous. And plus, what's with all the bickering back and forth.
I mean, I understand that the movie is trying to teach kids about teamwork and tolerance towards one another, but this was insane! Why show little kids two people arguing back and forth? It's bad enough that some kids actually see yelling and screaming in real life. It just doesn't make any sense.
Anyway, that was my list for the week of 11/9-11/16/13. Stay tuned for more Amateur Critic!

Top 10 Least-Viewed Posts As Of 11/15/13
Hi, I'm the Amateur Critic. I review just about anything.
I was looking through the stats of each post that's been made on this blog, and I was surprised to see that almost half of the blog posts are not looked upon like the other ones. In fact, I was shocked by how very few people are looking at the most important posts that I put in this blog.
So today, I'm going to shed some light on these nearly forgotten posts... in my Top 10 Least-Viewed Posts as of 11/15/13.
10. Dr. Blowhole's Revenge TV Special Review
This was my first review ever, in case you're wondering or have forgotten.
I had mixed emotions on this Penguins of Madagascar special. It was good in a way, but it had its flaws. There were only minor plot holes in the special, but you get the idea on what the special is about.
Plus, this was a personal fav, the special. This was the first-ever appearance of Dr. Blowhole (whom I'm a fan of).
Well, I guess I feel that this special seems underrated, because I don't hear many people talk about it. However, it's worth mentioning some time. If you haven't seen the review, check it out and decide for yourself.
9. Top 10 Most Underrated Villains
This was my list of what villains aren't as talked about as the villains from blockbuster movies and/or fan-fiction. From LarryBoy baddies to Don Bluth villains, this countdown will have you wonder about these proprietors of badness. These villains range from going mad with power to domestic violence... but that's all I'm saying about it. This means that you'll have to see the Top 10 countdown in my blog to see who made the list and who is ranked #1.
8. Editorial: Should We Be Concerned About The Pebble and the Penguin?
I believe I came across an important issue in this editorial. I felt like The Pebble and the Penguin was trying to show me something that nobody really talks about or has a problem talking about.
I wasn't sure if this was intentional to Don Bluth or not, but that movie showed a perfect example of domestic violence. Well, let's face it: there's still domestic violence in this... just minus the musical number...
...the rushed choreography...
...and every reference to laughing that the abuser can possibly think up.
It's not a fairy tale; it's for real.
I was hoping people would read this post, but in the end, opinion's opinion. Everyone has one.
7. Top 10 Weirdest Scenes in The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole
God, I laughed my rear off putting this countdown together.
I found so many scenes in that movie that qualified to be on this countdown. So, I hope you refer back to this special countdown, and prepare to be amused.
6. Editorial: Why Is Bambi So Important?
This was my first editorial ever in this blog.
I was debating on what my first editorial should be on, and all of a sudden, Bambi slipped into my mind: that Disney classic that raised awareness on protecting the environment.
This editorial may seem mediocre, but at least know that this was my very first editorial on Amateur Critic.
5. Editorial: What Makes The Fib from Outer Space Forgettable?
Geez! How many editorials are in this countdown? Are editorials not so popular in this blog?
Anyway, I was explaining in this editorial how the Fib from Outer Space from the LarryBoy franchise isn't getting as much special attention as the other villains, although he's the first villain ever to be tossed in LarryBoy's path. I mean, doesn't that make him likeable as a villain?
Well, even though the movie that he was in made him underdeveloped and underrated, I think he's work checking out, especially in my editorial.
4. Editorial: Is The Rumor Weed Getting Stronger?
Okay, to be honest, the remaining posts in this countdown will be editorials, except for one review.
Anyway, this editorial touched down on an important issue: spreading rumors although we're no longer in the 90s. I mean, imagine: we have social media, the tabloids, etc. And imagine how people feel when their reputations are ruined all because of a silly rumor.
Anyway, I hope you check out this editorial and decide for yourself.
3. Editorials: Why Do Villains Wear Capes? and Why Do Villains NOT Wear Capes?
I had to put these two editorials together, because they obviously go together. The Wear-Capes editorial came first, begging the question about what the significance is with villain wearing capes.
Then, the editorial was followed by a follow-up editorial, asking why some villains decided to ditch the capes.
They're very interesting to read.
2. LarryBoy and the Bad Apple Movie Review
This was a recent review that I did, and I was surprised to see that it's not getting as much views as it should.
This was one of my favorite movies, and I was honored to review this movie.
I praised it for being the comeback movie for LarryBoy, because believe me- the Cartoon Adventures wasn't really successful.
I hope I could enlighten you in this review.
1. Editorial: Is Barney A Good Teacher?
Behold: the first editorial to take the #1 spot in a countdown on this blog.
I, myself, forgot that I did an editorial on Barney the Dinosaur. I don't know. I guess my joy die-hardness of LarryBoy and other things to make editorials on just got in the way of reading this editorial.
Anyway, this editorial shows the pros and cons of Barney as a role model for kids. Believe me; I had so much to say about him.
Well, thanks for joining me in this countdown. Stay tuned for more Amateur Critic!

Top 10 Most-Viewed Posts As Of 11/14/13
Hi, I'm the Amateur Critic. I review just about anything.
Seeing that I'm close to finals at school, I'd thought I take the time to create another countdown just for the heck of it. So, without further ado, this is the Top 10 Most-Viewed Posts as of 11/14/13.
10. Lamb Chop's Play Along: "Lucky Dog"
It's sad to see how a review that was placed #4 in the last countdown dropped to the #10 spot on this countdown.
As you may recall, I praised this episode of Lamb Chop for bringing out the cuteness and naïve character of Hush Puppy. He was an adorable little dog the entire show.
Sure, he may not be as popular as his sister Lamb Chop, but to me, he seems so likeable.
9. Introductory Post
Wow, people still like my introductory post. Am I getting more audience members? If so, then awesome!
8. Editorial: What Parts of 3-2-1 Penguins That Make Me Tick
Thank God this editorial went from #3 to #8 on the countdown. In this editorial, I criticized the show for watered down creativity and their ripping off of some many movies and shows. Besides, I favor Veggietales more than this abomination.
7. The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole
Despite dropping from #5 to #7 on the countdown, this TV movie was still fun to review.
In fact, I had this crazy idea for this movie. As you may recall, I ended up doing a countdown for this movie on the Top 10 Weirdest Scenes in that movie.
(Trust me, the scene that places #1 in the countdown may surprise you.)
Anyway, this movie was fun to review and fun to watch, because you can't help but laugh at it or be nostalgic about it.
6. LarryBoy in the Good, the Bad, and the Eggly
This review was posted on October 26, 2013, and already it's placed #6 on the Top 10 Most-Viewed Posts as of 11/14/13.
I wasn't too happy in this review, because this movie had no dignity in showing how great LarryBoy is. In fact, I even criticized this movie for not seeming like a legit LarryBoy story.
It wasn't good; it wasn't bad; it was "eggly" in itself.
But hey, at least many people are seeing this review and enjoying it. So, I'll give them that.
5. LarryBoy: Leggo My Ego
This review was posted on October 17, 2013, and is still getting some popularity on this blog.
Just a recap, guys: the Alchemist is a momma's boy;
...Mother Pearl is his friggin' enabler;
...some of the townspeople are the better problem-solvers than the hero;
...and everybody in that movie is a jackass except for the butler that virtually does nothing but go out a couple of times...
...and sits in his computer chair "helping" the hero.
That was my critique on the movie; actually, the recap of the review was only the nice version.
Well, if you liked this review, good for you.
4. LarryBoy and the Yodelnapper
Posted on October 24, 2013, this review introduced a string of yodeler and superhero clichés that just happened to make it into that movie. Plus, it was so hard to take the moral of this movie seriously, because it's drowned out by the yodeler enthusiasm that it has.
However, I would give the movie credit for at least getting Archie to get his rear out of that darn computer chair...
...and actually helping the hero by passing him off as a yodeler for the yodelnapper to... yodelnap.
But why are people liking this review? Could it be the fact that I introduced the "Awkward Face" moment to you guys?
3. LarryBoy and the Angry Eyebrows
This was, by far, the start of mediocre material in LarryBoy history. I don't know; the plot was fast-paced; the villain was just bat-shit insane; and I felt like they made up the story as they went (refer to the Mad Libs theory in my review).
But for what it's worth, I enjoyed writing that review. And plus, I was surprised to see this review move up from #8 to #3 on the countdown.
2. LarryBoy and the Fib from Outer Space
As you can imagine, this review kept the #2 spot on the countdown.
Despite keeping the #2 spot, it's still growing in popularity. But still, I'm not sure why its editorial on What Makes The Fib from Outer Space So Forgettable? isn't getting much views on this blog.
In fact, the Fib from Outer Space himself was ranked #6 in Top 10 Most-Underrated Villains. He's that forgettable!
Anyway, this movie was a LarryBoy, and I've appreciated it, since I'm a die-hard LarryBoy fan.
1. Lamb Chop's Play Along: "The Guys"
So, tell me. Why is it that this review has the most views 2 times in a row whenever I do a Top 10 of all-time countdown? Is it because y'all took heed of the lesson that it shares? It must be.
To be frank, I gave that episode of Lamb Chop credit for setting an example on how to make the right friends.
I mean, who doesn't want to see Charlie Horse learn right from wrong in choosing his friends?
Anyway, this review still holds the #1 spot on the countdown... 2 times in a row.
And thanks for joining me in my countdown. Stay tuned for more reviews and editorials.
