"The Water Buffalo Song" Silly Song Review

Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.

As promised, I'm going to review all the Silly Songs from Veggietales.

Today, I'm going to review the first Silly Song that was ever made in the series. It's "The Water Buffalo Song."

Opening Title:
-Now, keep in mind, since this was in Veggietales' first episode, the quality of the animation and voice-acting are kind of a work-in-progress.

Beginning:
Larry: "The water buffalo song."
(music starts)

Larry: (singing) "Everybody's got a water buffalo..."
-Now, I'll admit, this song goes by really fast. In fact, this song does go by really fast, because...
Archibald: "Hold it! Hold it!"
-Our comedic foil, ladies and gentlemen!
Archibald: "You can't say that everyone's got a water buffalo, because no one does not have a water buffalo..."

-Basically, this has gone from a song to a debate.
-However, you can't help but laugh at Archibald's rambling.
Archibald: "And are you prepared to deal with that? I don't think so! Stop being so silly!"
-And Archibald lost to the fan base... as proven in the "End of Silliness: More Silly Songs" video from Veggietales!

Ending:
Larry: (singing) "Everybody's got a baby kangaroo..."
-Okay. One more verse. That's fine-
Archibald: "AAAAAAAAAGH!" (as he charges Larry)
-Okay, what was that? Was Archibald trying to start a war there? But I still think that was funny!
-And for that matter, was this supposed to be a running gag; Archibald trying to stop Larry from having Silly Songs? I guess that was the norm for a few videos, but then the "End of Silliness: More Silly Songs" video cleared things up... but we'll get to that when we get to that in this blog.

And that was "The Water Buffalo Song." Well, since this was the first Silly Song in Veggietales history, I'll go a little easy on it.
Like I said before, something you should keep in mind that this Silly Song was Veggietales' first, so the animation and voice-acting were a work-in-progress. The song didn't have to be perfectly animated and voiced to have audiences drawn in. For what it is, it's still funny, and it's still a classic.

Reviewing Every Silly Song from "Veggietales"

Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.

I just got an idea on what to do for a next series of blogs.
-(Since season one of Rising Star is over...)

I'm going to explore all the Silly Songs that Veggietales has given us throughout the years! I'll start from episode one and then go from there. Each blog entry will be about a different silly song, where I'll praise or question what's on my mind when it comes to entertainment and consensus.
I've never done something like this before. So, this ought to be fun.
