Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.
Now as promised, I'm giving you the Top 7 Best Performances done by former Veggietales character Mr. Nezzer.
Just letting you know, for this list, I'm excluding Mr. Nezzer's short cameos (the ones that he has one to no lines in the whole episode). Plus, this countdown is dedicated to Mr. Nezzer, because it's sad to no longer see him in the franchise.
-You can thank Veggietales In The House for that...
So let's kick this into high gear!
7. Randalf from Lord of the Beans
Playing this Gandalf spoof in a Lord of the Rings spoof, Mr. Nezzer provides a good side of himself...
-...which is ironic, because in many of his performances, he usually assumes the antagonist role.
However, in this one, this was where he had legitimate comedic qualities. Plus, he seems more grandfatherly to our main character (Junior Asparagus),
which seems to fit the role. In fact, I kind of enjoy seeing him in a lead role here than anywhere else,
because instead of being manipulative and cocky, here he's nice and understanding.
6. "Kilts and Stilts" Silly Song
Yes, I know this counts as a cameo, but he's part of the song. In fact, he's singing with Larry, Jimmy, and Jerry.
What I found unique in this Silly Song segment that deserves mentioning is that he's seen without any hair on his head.
-What was up with that?
What's also unique is that Mr. Nezzer is just going along with Larry's silliness.
Unlike in the "Larry's High Silk Hat" silly song, where he's just annoyed by Larry's silliness,
here he's just having fun with the song.
5. Himself (I guess?) from The Toy That Saved Christmas
-Even though he claims to be Nebby K. Nezzer's twin brother, Wally B. Nezzer, he's still the same person.
Anyway, I remember doing a review on this video. (Be sure to check it out on this blog. It should be in the December 2013 archive. I posted that review on Christmas Day, actually.) Looking back at it now, I just think it's a discount Rack, Shack, and Benny, but with a stronger moral, since it's Christmas.
Anyway, in this video, Mr. Nezzer is up to no good.
-Usually...
This performance was enjoyable, because it's entertaining to laugh at. You know that he's supposed to be the villain, but he just makes it hard for you to take him seriously.
For example, when he's about to send our heroes sliding to their doom towards a danger zone, he's like:
Mr. Nezzer: "Do you think they care about all that giving and love?"
-He says like he's in and out of it during that whole shot. It's friggin' hilarious!
However, unlike Rack, Shack, and Benny, Mr. Nezzer actually made an attempt to right his wrong by rescuing the heroes from their demise.
-I have a joke for that particular scene. Read my review to find out.
Well, even though this video felt like a Christmas equivalent to Rack, Shack, and Benny, Mr. Nezzer's A-performance was still there... somewhat.
4. Himself from LarryBoy and the Rumor Weed
He's a cameo in this one; however, as a cameo, he has a speaking part. He's one of the neighbors in Junior's suburban neighborhood. He rallies people to fear Alfred Asparagus, because of the rumor that was made: that Alfred is a dangerous robot. Plus, he's one of the first people to remorse when the kids (Junior and Laura) admit their mistake on spreading the rumor and saying that Alfred is a nice person.
What's unique about this performance in this video is that even though he has a minor role, they still make him memorable. It almost makes you forget who the real antagonist of the movie is, which in this case, is the Rumor Weed.
3. Olaf from Lyle the Kindly Viking
Before there was How To Train Your Dragon, meet Mr. Nezzer's character Olaf.
Instead of hunting for dragons, he and his gang of vikings (excluding Lyle) are going from place to place stealing from the innocent.
-Just call it Grand Theft Auto Viking-Edition(?)
Here, Mr. Nezzer assumes another leader/antagonist role. However, what was ballsy about this performance that he actually left a character out to die during a dangerous situation.
-I couldn't believe I was watching that. A revenge attempt in Veggietales? Well, I also did a review on this video, so I should already know better.
2. Ebeneezer Nezzer from An Easter Carol
By far, this is considered Mr. Nezzer's first and only lead role in a Veggietales video.
-I also did a review on this video.
His performance was just as memorable as his other performances in this countdown. However, this performance felt indifferent. Some parts were a hole-in-one;
others weren't up to par;
and the rest made you say "Eh."
I mean, you have his manipulative and stubborn ways; and then later you have his remorseful side.
Unlike Jonah from Jonah: A Veggietales Movie, even though he was in the wrong at the beginning of the video, the video makes up for it by making him likable to sympathize with towards the end.
1. Himself from Rack, Shack, and Benny
If the other performances in this performances were great, then his debut performance rules over them.
There's no denying that this was his best performance ever, because this is where first impression comes in. This was where he was given an identity in Veggietales.
-It's like the show was saying: Hey, meet Mr. Nezzer. He's going to be our bad guy persona, but he's really not as evil as you think he is. Or as George the Narrator puts it:
George: "Now Mr. Nezzer is not a bad man. He just gets confused sometimes."
-That line basically sums up his character in general right there. Thanks, Veggietales!
Despite the video's controversy in regards to "The Bunny Song"...
-My review goes further into that subject matter...
...Mr. Nezzer was able to make his mark in Veggietales history by entertaining us, shocking us, and having us recognize him for the character that he is.
You will be missed, Mr. Nezzer.

CHARACTER ANALYSIS #8- Mr. Nezzer from "Veggietales"
Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.
As promised in a recent video embedded into this blog, this is a Character Analysis on former Veggietales character Mr. Nezzer.
First appearing in Rack, Shack, and Benny in 1995,
Mr. Nezzer would usually assume the villain role in almost every episode that he's in. He's usually seen in business attire, unless he has a role that has him he into costume
(ex. Lyle the Kindly Viking).
Sometimes he shows up as a cameo in the LarryBoy episodes,
excluding LarryBoy and the Rumor Weed, because he had a minor speaking role in that video.
Also, he can usually be seen with a sidekick named Mr. Lunt, who usually does some of his bidding for him (excluding Esther... The Girl Who Became Queen).
Yeah, you can expect to see this duo every time Mr. Nezzer is involved.
Plus, sometimes, Mr. Nezzer can be a good guy. Take Lord of the Beans, for example:
he plays a Gandalf parody named Randalf.
-Starting to see the similarity in both names?
In that video, Mr. Nezzer's character assists Junior Asparagus in an adventure.
So, telling by his many roles on the show, Mr. Nezzer is mainly an antagonist; however, unlike most animated villains, this one may show remorse every once in a while. And I know I tend to criticize this character for not having enough direction, but now the more I think about it, he's not so bad. Not to mention, ever since the creation of Veggietales In The House on Netflix, he got booted off the franchise (read Part 3 of my Veggietales In The House editorial for more information). Yeah, it's sad that Mr. Nezzer, a character that can be great (if he was given the right tools), lasted from 1995 to 2014.
I don't know. I feel like I'm not doing enough to pay homage to this character. So... coming soon, I'll post a Top (whatever number) list for Mr. Nezzer's best performances on Veggietales.

Editorial: Why Can't People Wait For "Five Nights at Freddy's 3"?
Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.
Lately, I've been seeing news and Youtube videos concerning the Five Nights at Freddy's series.
Rumor has it that there's going to be a third installment to the series. Okay, just nothing but talk, right? However, if you turn that into obsessive videos and pictures that'll trick people into believing that their true without getting official word from Scott Cawthon himself (the creator of the series), then it's just insane.
As a gamer, I'm a big fan of the Five Nights at Freddy's series. But I don't go saying "This is gonna be in the next game" or "Here's a trailer for the next game, even though it's fan-made!" I mean, Scott Cawthon just finished making Five Nights at Freddy's 2, and it's already in the market.
Now, I have no problem with fan art and memes that you can find on the Internet when you go to Google Images (or something similar to that). All I'm saying is that I'm getting bored of people creating this hype about Five Nights at Freddy's 3, and blowing it up into stuff like:
1. so-called "teaser trailers" of the new Five Nights at Freddy's game, when in reality, they're nothing but fan-made trailers
2. pics posted on the Internet to say that the new Five Nights at Freddy's name is coming on "this date" or "that date," and featuring animatronics never seen before
-If this was shown at a convention somewhere, I would be the one of to raise my hand and ask, "Did you really go to Scott Cawthon and ask if what's being presented to the world is accurate?"
The reason why I see this as an issue is because people can fall for tricks like that. I watched a video on Youtube once, thinking that it was an actual teaser for the new game... only to find out that it was fan-made and only clips and pieces of the first two games.
This happens with movies too! It's like every time a game or movie franchise gets popular, people are finding new ways of saying (and begging) "Please make more!" This leads to creators making crappy sequels, because people were so impatient, that creators would scramble to make and release the next "big thing."
-Let me just ask: Do you want Five Nights at Freddy's 3 to be a crappy sequel? (Then again, Scott Cawthon, telling by the Five Nights at Freddy's series, is pretty good at his work, that there's no way the third installment would be that bad.)
-It's like opening presents two weeks before Christmas. It just doesn't feel right.
-And no, I'm not going to show the new pic (the one that says "I am still here") that Scott Cawthon released on his website, because I believe he needs to be the one commenting on his status and when the game will officially come out.
As for the speculation about the backstory of Five Nights at Freddy's, let Scott Cawthon himself say if the second installment is a prequel or not, or if the third installment will be a prequel or not. It's bad enough that people like me are still trying to piece together the story ourselves... IN OUR MINDS AND NOT IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE.
To sum it up, I'm pretty sure Scott Cawthon already has enough things to do, and people are pestering him about when there will be another Five Nights at Freddy's game. But here's my suggestion: be patient. You know that old saying: "Good things will come to you if you wait"? The same rules apply here. If you want Five Nights at Freddy's 3 to not suck, then leave Scott Cawthon to do his work.
Should I say the same things about movies? Yes. I mean, you can look all over Youtube and tell the fan-made trailers from the actual ones. I understand that Youtubers just want to have fun on the Internet, but think about who you're showing fan-made trailers to and be ready to suffer any consequences.
-There ARE such thing as gullible people (people that thoroughly believe everything they see and hear on the Internet or elsewhere).
Not to be rude or anything, but give Scott Cawthon a break. If you want Five Nights at Freddy's 3 to happen, then I'm pretty sure Scott Cawthon will respond to that in some way.

Video Takedown Alert
Hi, I'm the Whatsoever Critic. I review just about anything.
For those of you that haven't heard or seen yet, I've posted an important message on my Facebook page. For those who haven't, this is my message:
Just a head's up, folks. I had to delete "The Bunny Song" Review video, due to copyright policies from Youtube. So, to make up for it, CHARACTER ANALYSIS #8 will be on the Veggietales character Mr. Nezzer (who recently got kicked off of Veggietales, due to DreamWorks' policies). Expect a teaser trailer for this Character Analysis coming soon to my Youtube Channel.
Sorry for the video deletion, guys. But it had to be done. However, this is a good thing, because I'm still doing Character Analysis blogs.
Again, teaser trailer coming soon!!!
